Hemley Hill Farm – Rare Breed Fell Ponies, British Lop Pigs and Poultry in the Chilterns
Welcome to Hemley Hill Farm. We are a flourishing, family-owned farm and flower nursery nestled near Princes Risborough in the Chiltern Hills.
A slice of countryside heaven, our farm offers breath-taking views of Whiteleaf Cross and Lodge Hill. Its deep quiet only broken by the calls of the Red Kites soaring above or a chicken’s cheery ‘I’ve laid an egg’ song.
Our passion is supporting British rare breeds – be it pigs, ponies or poultry – and Hemley Hill is home to a wide selection of native animals which we breed, show and sell, including:
Prize-winning Mountain and Moorland Rare Breed Fell Ponies – Our beautiful, agile Fell ponies are amongst the best examples of their breed. Our ponies include Supreme Champion stallion, Guards Jester, and Supreme Champion mares Shirdleyhill Tara, Knockamille Jasmine and Murthwaite Sarah. We sometimes have Fell ponies, young stock and ridden ponies for sale.
British Lop Pigs – Our wonderful, rare-breed British Lop Pigs tick a lot of piggy boxes – as well as charming to look at with full, floppy ears, they make delightful, docile mother pigs for breeding and super-tasty, succulent bacon and pork for selling. We supply Lop Pig pork to the fabulous Block and Butcher in Wendover.
Rare Breed Poultry – We have an ever-growing eclectic selection poultry at Hemley Hill Farm. Point-of-lay birds are regularly available, alongside a bountiful supply of fresh free-range eggs.
Flower Nursery and Floristry – Our nursery is filled with the prettiest English flowers, from delicate Sweet peas to dish-size Dahlias, which when in season can be bought from Thame Flower Stall every Thursday, Friday and Saturday – weather permitting, or by visiting Fullers Flowers online shop. We can also be found at a scattering of local Farmers’ Markets.
